1. General
1.1Fablane is a brand of Cofounderie FZE, Office Q1-05-019/C, Saif Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). Cofounderie FZE operates Fablane and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
1.2Fablane is a software and engineering team for manufacturers and regulated businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit fablane.ai, contact us, book a call with us, or are contacted by us in a business context.
1.3This policy also applies to anyone who receives a concept preview. A concept preview is a personalised demo we build for a firm. It shows that firm’s public branding and sample data. It does not show the name of the person who receives it.
2. Information we collect
2.1Website visitors. We count visits, the pages viewed and your device and browser type, using a daily visitor identifier that is hashed so it cannot be traced back to you. We do not store your IP address and we do not record your location.
2.2Business contacts. We collect your name, public job title, firm, business email address and public professional profile (for example LinkedIn). We also record where each item came from and when we recorded it, and whether you opened or followed a link, replied, or took part in a call.
2.3Calls you book. If you book a call, we collect your name, email address, role, firm, the topics you want to discuss, the time of the call and any notes you give us.
2.4Where we get it. We collect business contact data mainly from public sources: firm websites, official registers such as Companies House, public professional profiles, and event speaker or sponsor lists. We may use tools that help us find and check business email addresses. We do not use attendee lists from event apps. If we got your details from a public source, this policy is our privacy information to you, and we link to it in our first message.
3. How we use information
3.1We use website data to understand and improve the site.
3.2We use business contact data to contact your firm about Fablane’s service, to follow up sensibly, and to stop contacting you when you ask.
3.3We use call data to run the meeting you asked for.
3.4Legal basis. For business contacts we rely on legitimate interests under UK GDPR (Article 6(1)(f)). We have written down a legitimate interests assessment and can give you a summary on request. For website analytics we rely on legitimate interests, because it is anonymous counting and uses no cookies. For calls you book, we rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, and on legitimate interests.
3.5How we contact businesses. We contact companies, LLPs and Scottish partnerships. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails or messages, including on LinkedIn, to sole traders or to partnerships other than an LLP or a Scottish partnership, because the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) treat them as individual subscribers. Every message tells you who we are and how to stop further contact.
4. Information we share
4.1We share personal data only with service providers who process it for us under contract, such as providers of our customer database and workflow tools, website protection and analytics, email sending, enrichment, and calendar booking. Our customer database is hosted on servers in Germany.
4.2We do not sell personal data.
4.3Where a provider is outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we use an approved transfer mechanism, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.
5. Keeping, updating or deleting information
5.1We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and we review prospect records regularly. When we no longer need a record, we delete or anonymise it.
5.2If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep your name or email address and the reason on a suppression record with no end date. We use it only to make sure we never contact you again.
5.3Concept previews. Every concept preview states that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the firm it is built for. To have a preview removed, write to us at the address in section 8. We will remove it and add the firm to our suppression record.
6. Your rights
6.1You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or stop how we use it, or to move it.
6.2You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing, and we will stop when you ask.
6.3We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
7. Cookies
7.1This site does not set cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. Our booking page is provided by Microsoft and may set its own cookies.
8. Contact
8.1For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@fablane.ai.
8.2We will publish any update to this policy on this page, with a new date.
